The Balcony Restaurant & Bar St.Lucia

Over looking the Derek Walcott Square is this fine first floor dining experience!Excellent service and hospitality, a true invitation to a party for one’s taste buds.Will be returning.

Fun little restaurant a few blocks from the market. The night we went in it was just locals. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. I had grilled fish with lentils and plantains as a side. The balcony seating is a great place to people watch.

I had not been there in a while but today I was and did not regret it. The staff who took my order was pleasant. I tried their rumpunch which was on special and told the staff who attended to me that it tasted like juice and she had it fixed to be more like rum punch! I enjoyed that. Wonderful experience.

Awesome local bar & eatery.. picked it because so many locals lined up for the diverse and flavorful menu.. easy walk from the port/ships..skip the tourist spots and hang out for an enjoyable relaxed experience. (LRemer).

I spent two weeks in the Caribbean, and this place served the best food of the entire trip! I honestly want to go back just to eat here again. Everything was phenomenal, including the local beer, but the chicken deserves a gold star and a round of applause. Seriously, it was the most delicate and flavorful chicken I've ever had. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this culinary gem!

We arrived on Vision of the Seas cruise ship on Dec 13th 2024. Which just happens to be a national holiday for St. Lucia and my guess is that 90% of their businesses are closed for this holiday.My wife picked this place and we walked to it and were warmly greeted by the staff AND the locals in attendance.The food was Amazing, Im not sure what i ordered but it was definitely an Island dish. Cut up turkey legs in a stew like sauce. AMAZING taste, meat was tender. She ordered a Hamburger and fries lol but what she got was two slider size buns with ham and a very delicious sauce. She loved it and i took a bite of hers, yes it was delicious.So after leaving The Balcony, we started walking down the street towards the cruise ship and within one block of walking, this brown van pulls up next to us. My first thought was another taxi offering their service. But to our astonishment, the passenger held up my phone and asked if we had left it.Let me say that both of us were so surprised that 1. I left my phone there. And 2. The restaurant had that nice couple track us down so quickly to give my phone back. That's all we talked about for the next three blocks.St. Lucia residents are so friendly and helpful and "The Balcony Restaurant " food was so Amazing!We can't wait to return here.

It's always good to support locals.. they are located in the perfect spot. The food did not disappoint.
